Hannah Jafarova is an accomplished full-cycle accountant with diverse experience in public practice and industry settings. She has a proven ability to manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, from accounts payable to financial reporting, with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with financial standards.

At Catapult, Hannah’s role involves maintaining the general ledger, managing accounts payable and preparing financial reports. She collaborates with management to ensure seamless financial operations, timely reporting, and adherence to GAAP and internal controls.

Prior to Catapult, Hannah served as a Senior Accountant at Acuva Technologies, where she managed budgets, reconciliations, vendor payments, collections. She also held accounting roles at MEC and BDO Canada LLP, gaining experience in reconciliations, journal entries, audits, and tax preparation. Her early career as a Cost Controller at Saipem Contracting Netherlands BV involved managing project budgets, contributing to the completion of large-scale projects, and improving operational efficiency.

Hannah holds an MBA from the University of Canada West and a Diploma in Accounting from the University of British Columbia. She is currently working towards completing the CPA Professional Education Program by 2027.

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys exploring new places on her electric bike, trying out new recipes, and engaging in creative activities. She is passionate about continuous learning and refining her skills to support businesses through efficient and well-organized financial operations.
